I ordered the book and started reading it while on a family vacation with our kids. I just read the first chapter through tears. My heart was so overwhelmed by the magnitude of the power of the relationship with Jesus. I wanted to purchase more books to share with my family and friends in our ministry. This is the fifth copy of this wonderful book that I’ve ordered and one is for a wedding gift to a young Christian YouTuber who is on fire for the Lord and is getting married on November 22 in Florida; and one copy is for my 22yr old grandson who is getting baptized on November 16th! The 3rd copy is a Christmas gift for a young woman I met back in March of this year at my back surgeon’s office and struck up a conversation while we were both waiting. I’ve become her “spiritual Mom” since she lost her Mom years ago and misses her terribly.

I have introduced this book to my former pastor and his wife who is a counselor. They both were moved beyond measure. I in turn introduced it to my mens accountable group. We read through it together and review chapter by chapter each week. It has changed the men immensely. Their wives were also moved and are reading it. We have rolled it out to the entire church and people we come into contact. Wife has passed them out to her nurses at the hospital. Powerful book! Along with the book Authority in Prayer Book.

All of Dutch's books are so relatable to the every-day person, to you and to me, but this is a favorite of mine (at least so far!!) I read a chapter each morning during my daily devotional time and each one brings me closer to understanding the Lord and how to enjoy His company! This book is a must read for everyone who desires an intimacy with God's presence.
I was going thru bouts of loneliness after my husband's death four years ago.
I started following Dutch's Give Him 15 and heard about the book Give Him 15. From the first day to the last chapter HIS Presence became primary in my life. I knew that was My Husband (Isaiah 54:5) and He proved it to me!!
I help with the Hispanic ministry at Fort Jackson with the new recruits. On occasions I give my helpers this book when they leave. I praise God for His grace and strength He has shown me through Dutch's book. I will be buying more.
Great book to use in ministering to others
The Pleasure of His Company, touched us in a way that only the Bible did prior. We have purchased almost two dozen copies and we give them away with the challenge to individuals, couples, and entire families, to set aside the time to read out loud, one chapter a day, search the scriptures, and pray for revelation, wisdom and courage to step out in faith, and do what the Lord has called us to do.
On person, an 83 year old gentleman, retired from the Air Force, and widowed. Was so moved by the book, that we have lunch at least once a month with him and he shares his heart on how the Lord has begun to move in his life like never before. There are many others who have had similar experiences.
Bottom line, it’s one of the best of Dutch Sheets many great books, of which we have most!

This book is a wonderful combination of devotional, relationship instruction, humor, and biblical teaching! It's quick and easy to read, it's broken down into manageable chapters, and there's a prayer at the end of each chapter. The best part is that I felt my relationship with God grow from almost the minute I started reading. This book transformed my thinking about deep intimacy with my Heavenly Father. Made Him so personally in love with me, pursuing me, teaching me, training me by His Holy Spirit. Sometimes, He corrects my thinking in speaking to me. I'm so thankful and grateful for all He's done for me and love, love, love, my time in His Presence....I treasure this time early in the mornings. I bought 10 books and have given 3 away already. This is one of my favorite all-time books I have ordered several and have given them away. I just ordered more to give to friends and family. I am rereading the book again! I only read one chapter a day so I can savor it more. I love the love his has for his wife. Three years ago I lost my husband of 52 years. I was cherished by my husband and I love seeing other men do the same ! I can see how seasoned Christians as well as new Christians can benefit and grow in the Lord by reading this book! It is an easy read, but at the same time reaches depths of understanding that are eye openers! I encourage everyone to purchase this book and even shared that idea with my facebook family a few days ago on Dutch's birthday. I had no idea that it was his birthday when I shared my love of the book.

This is one of my all time favorite books. I came to know the Father at an early age and have crawled upon His lap on numerous occasions. But, this book called me to another place I had not yet been. It opened my eyes to places I desire to be and remain! One of my grand daughters is deep into her Savoir right now and I gave her one of the books. I knew it would move her to new beautiful heights. She came over last night and told me she had read the first two chapters and that she loved it. Thank you for holding nothing back and being so transparent!! Your humble spirit touched my heart. The day before I heard Dutch talk about this book on GH15, I had text a friend to say "I don't always approach God from a place of enjoying the pleasure of His company. I am not okay with this. I want to run to Him, as He picks up and swings me around, we laugh, giggle, share secrets with each other, or sit quiet just being together". The next morning as Dutch said the title of the book I immediately recognized the verbiage was what I had said. The book has not disappointed, but has encouraged me to pursue God as a child running to their daddy. I see Father God differently, not irreverent, but as a dad who wants to hear everything I have to say and has so much to tell me.

Awakening
Bouncing between this book, The River of God, and Becoming Who You Are. These three coincide with each other in a way that does not seem coincidental, but lead by and inspire by Holy Spirit through intimate relationship. This book among the three is my most favorite because of the heart that pours out of this book for Daddy. This one stirs such a desire to get alone with the God at the end of each chapter, and prayers that we can marinate in for hours and days... So incredibly thankful for these books, and for Dutch’s open heart to pour out what is being poured in in such a relatable, hilarious, and real way.

Inspiring and a true treasure written by a man seeking the Father and all He has to give in intimacy while seeking His face.
How beautiful is the Pleasure of His Company!
I received this book as a gift for partnering with DSM. It is an excellent journey for a more intimate relationship with the Master, Father, Friend and Lover of my soul. Dutch writes with a talent that is deeply moving, interjected with a sense of humor regarding his humanity and a matter-of-fact delivery of the Majesty of the Great I AM that leaves you breathless. I had to order more of these for family and friends - and will do so again.

If it is possible for a "devotional" type book to be a timeless classic, I think this will be it. I buy this book in bulk ever so often and give as a gifts throughout the year. Not only is it an amazing book, but it is an introduction to Dutch, whom has been a spiritual mentor to me over the last 20 some years and continues to be, even though I have never shook his hand or spoken to him personally.

While reading this book, God was helping me to reconnect with Him. There are many good parables and revelation of what God's Word is really saying. I appreciate the hunting for treasure and the revealing of what is found--like going to the original Greek or Hebrew to rightly divide the Word of Truth.

Falling in love with Jesus all over again
This book does more than that--it takes you from the initial love and joy in knowing Jesus, to a mature, intimate love that comes only from His presence. This book couldn't be more timely. The prophetic stream is united in calling for His presence, for intimacy even in war, and for more of Him. Dutch is clearly at the right time gate with this one. All lovers of Jesus should (must?) read it.

I love the way Dutch Sheets draws you to the Father; draws you to wanting to spend more time with the Father; draws you to desiring an intimate relationship with the Father - to have the pleasure of His company. I love the humor and personal stories Dutch adds to each chapter...but it all comes down to our (my) attention being focused upon our Father God and His company. Dutch makes the Hebrew and Greek languages come alive to give a deeper understanding of what is being said. I would highly recommend this book!
